Just wanted to let those that are waiting for their prizes that they have been shipped and are on their way to you.

All packages must be received by July 6th. If you have not received your package by then let me know. Those swappers that have not sent their packages and not received by their partner by July 6th will be banned from future HSKS swaps. That gives you all 2 whole weeks past the official ship date to get your packages to your partners. If you are experiencing any type of hardship you MUST email me and your partner to let us know what is going on.

OK I am back from Ireland and have pics to post. I received this lovely kit from Carrie, of CosmicYarns on Etsy.

I have purchased much of her yarn and have steered many others her way. It was funny to receive a package from Carrie containing someone else's yarn!! The yarn is glorious, a beautiful color, apparntly dyed from onions, soft, shiny. The bag is so cool.....I smuggled it in my luggage to Ireland and used the bag but did not get the chance to start the lovely sock pattern that was included. I neglected to put the KP DPN in the pics but there were in the kit as well. BEE YOO TEE FULL stitch markers, a pin and some book plates. Thank you so much Carrie...

Quidditch

Hello!
It's been a loooooooong Saturday. We've been ripping up flooring, entertaining my mother, sister, and niece, and feeding the masses. I'm pooped and now I must go to work.

A glimpse of my swap for Mama Turtle . . .

Here's a glimpse of the HSKS bag I made for Mama Turtle. It's already gone in the mail. I know she's seen the bag because she's visited my blog (Hi, Mama T.!) I forgot to take any other pictures before I bundled it all up and into the mail. I do fear something (maybe, chocolate?) might melt but I gave it a shot anyway. This has been great fun and, now, I can't wait to find a package waiting for me!

Youngest Child made a bit of a mess of the bag but it has straps and handles, one large outer pocket with a decorative button and two inner pockets. It's big so I am expecting Mama Turtle to start lots of socks!

Next Round of HSKS

Hello!
I just wanted to announced that the signups for the second round of HSKS will begin next Monday! Yes, it's that time already. We only have a little more than 2 weeks left of the current swap, and boy, has it been a ride. :) I absolutely LOVE these larger swaps and have such fun putting the packages together. This swap is extra neat because of all the cool HP swag that is available.

Why is this next swap shorter, you ask? I get to go to Mexico in August!! Woot! My church does member missionary trips every year and this year I decided to apply. So, even though sign-ups don't start until Monday you can still head on over to the swap site and grab the logo to put on your site.

The BIG changes for the next HSKS are

• No Weekly Trivia
• Prefects have less responsibility - but there will only be one prefect per house
  
• Only two rounds of Quidditch - Trivia released on a Wednesday and Snitch released on a weekend

Literally Out the DOor

We are leaving NOW I wanted to say THANK YOU THANK YOU to Carrie. I have the greatest sock kit. A most exquisite bag they had to grab from me and say leave it home, I may still sneak it, heehee, they're not looking..heehee....KP needles, glorious, a most fantastic yarn, a great pin, a stupendous pattern, oh so glorious bookplates, sorry if I have forgotten...... they are in the car, can sneak the bag, heehee..Pics of it in Ireland...a grand letter from Carrie. CARRIE!!! She is dharmafey from Cosmic Yarns, how many times have I posted that link on blogs. I have tons of her yarn, and she sent me yarn from another etsy dealer, LOVE ETSY, oh oh beautiful pearl stitch markers, I want to wear them as earrings...oh oh they are calling Me...must go. Carrie I will email when I can...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! shhhhhhh...the bag, pattern and yarn are in my bag...shhhhhhhh..heehee..heehee oh no here they come. So, sorry that I haven't updated! Things have been so crazy around here. Problems with the house, then problems in the marriage. If it's not one thing it's another right?

Here are the House percentages for this week. No big changes so far. Hopefully, with the last round of Quidditch we'll see a big change.

Ravenclaw - 49%

Hufflepuff - 40%

Slytherin - 25 %

Hello, ladies!
I just wanted to apologize for not getting to the update today. We had a disaster at the house. One of the nozzles to our water heater busted and water leaked into my front bathroom and master closet. Had to take everything out, rip up the flooring and set a fan in there for it to dry.

I will be posting the updates for the House scores on Monday.

Tease for a Gryffindor

I have my bag almost complete...I'd say 95% done! Now I'm onto the creating/purchasing of my stitch markers...may I ask if there is a number of these which is correct?
